Job description
We are SkyGeo
SkyGeo is a scale-up company developing advanced technology to detect and analyze subtle changes in ground and structural stability over time. Our mission is to transform complex data into actionable insights, enabling governments and companies worldwide to make informed decisions for a sustainable future. We’ve built an ambitious and diverse team and are continuously looking for talented colleagues who want to help grow our company professionally and internationally.
Your role and impact
You are the link between finance and the business. You’re an entrepreneurial Controller who ensures that the financial foundation is solid and remains that way, and you’re responsible for the entire financial landscape. You manage the full S/T/O pyramid and handle hands-on tasks such as registering orders, sending invoices and reminders, and managing accounts receivable. You’ll also focus on further professionalizing the finance department.
You’ll create clear and transparent management reports and have a strong sense for designing financial processes. You combine a sharp, analytical mindset with your experience in process optimization and in selecting and implementing automation opportunities. Once the basics are in place, you’ll be ready to take things a step further—by investigating and defining strategic objectives and determining how they can be financially supported. This is where your overarching goal and focus lie.
Ultimately, the operational aspects of your role will be taken over by a financial administration employee. You will be a key sparring partner for the CEO. Because of the international nature of the company, the CEO travels frequently and fully relies on your expertise and insights.
