Your Role & Impact
Our Data Analytics team is looking for a Lead InSAR engineer with ambition! Your strong quantitative skills will help you to apply our technology in projects and with your passion for Geoscience and innovation you’ll help us develop our range of products to serve our internal and external stakeholders as best as we can.
Preferably, this position will be located in Delft, the Netherlands, but we are open for remote working.
Your main responsibilities
You will work with our customers to find new ways to implement and integrate our data into geotechnical engineering practices. Your focus will be on:
- Processing, modeling and visualization of InSAR data
- Collaborating with customers and partners on using InSAR for complex projects
- Implementing and improving existing algorithms
- Providing (technical) support to our commercial and Data Analytics team
- Coach and train junior colleagues.

Job requirements
Our ideal candidate
We are looking for a great team player, with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. Besides your outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, and your ability to focus on deadlines and results, we like you to bring:
- A Ph.D. degree in engineering, signal processing, remote sensing or equivalent education.
- At least 3 years experience of working with InSAR data, preferably in a professional company with project management/customer-facing environment.
- Broad experience with coregistration, amplitude, and InSAR processing software packages
- A full understanding of all parts of an advanced SAR/InSAR processing chain, including all elements of DInSAR, SBAS and PSI processing, for the application of different processing approaches to problems in civil engineering, slope stability, mining, and oil and gas.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of digital signal processing.
- Experience with GIS environments (QGIS, ArcGIS etc.)
- Experience working with other remote sensing data (optical, multi-spectral, LIDAR) or topographic data is an advantage
- Knowledge of geodetic surveying techniques and GPS/GNSS data processing is an advantage
- Software development experience, preferably with Python, and using object-oriented programming is an advantage
- Excellent written and oral reporting skills, while continuous communication with colleagues is a key part of this position.
